Founded in 1928, Abzac is one of the leading producers of cardboard tubes, fibre drums, cardboard corners and sealing cartridges in Europe, Canada, North America and Mexico. Abzac is a privately-held group with a wide global reach, the head office of which is situated near Bordeaux in an 18th century mill.

Abzac, continuously in growth, is marked today by its presence in Europe, Canada, North America and Mexico to offer a complete range of cardboard packaging products.

Abzac adopted a strategy of proximity to improve its customer service, reinforce safety on the qualitative level, ensure a greater reactivity and reduce the delivery deadlines and stocks. The culture of the company is to offer to the customer the guarantee of a total quality of products and service offered.

Today Abzac is characterized by its experiment and its know-how. Abzac wanted to build its growth and its expansion around 3 concepts: develop reliable products adapted to market needs, maintain customer relationships based on competence and trust and be present on production sites close to the main users.

Through its production sites of cardboard tubes, fibre drums, re-engineered cores, sealant cartridges and cardboard corners, its partnerships and licenses, Abzac is present in the following plants:

  • Cardboard tubes:
    • 12 plants: 6 in Europe, 3 in Canada, 2 in the United States and 1 in Mexico.

  • Concrete formwork :
    • 1 plant in Canada

  • Re-engineered cores :
    • 1 plant in Canada

  • Cardboard corners (angleboard) :
    • 1 plant in Canada, 1 in Kentucky, 1 in Las Vegas, 1 in Mexico and 1 in Romania

  • Fibre drum :
    • 4 plants in France, partnerships in United Kingdom, in Germany and in Mexico

CANADA

Abzac Canada Inc. Drummondville
Founded in: Joint Venture, set up in 1985, purchased in 1989

Target Markets: Primarily dedicated to supplying the building trade, with shuttering tubes for concrete and water-tightness cartridges (Econopac).


Abzac Canada Inc. Trois-Rivières (Cardboard tubes facility)
Founded in : 1993

Target Markets : Primarily dedicated to supplying paper mills.

Features: Specialized in the production of extra-long, high resistance tubes.

Founded in : 2004

Target Markets : Primarily dedicated to supplying cardboard corners (angleboard) for different industries (food, furniture, pharmaceutical, aviation, fruit and vegetables growers, etc.).

Founded in: Purchased in 1999

Target Markets: Primarily dedicated to supplying the following industries: Plastic film, paper mills, paper for domestic use, household aluminium foil.

Founded in : “Joint Venture” 2006

Target Markets : Primarily dedicated to supplying cardboard corners (angleboard) for different industries (food, furniture, pharmaceutical, aviation, fruit and vegetables growers, etc.), and also supplying cardboard tubes for steel industries.

Features : Specialized in the production of cardboard corners (angleboard), which is an ideal product to protect packaging.


NEVADA
